Twenty-Fif-Deen

I’m not gonna lie, 2015 has been pretty damn amazing so far and we're only one month in!
I’m looking forward to sharing more of my titillating thoughts & adventures with you as the year continues to roll on!

So here we go people! If you didn’t know already January is awards season in the adult industry and I’ve spent the last two weeks surrounded by the hottest porn stars on the planet. For me, it’s been a whirlwind of dreams coming true all over my face!

On Jan 15, I went to the XBIZ Awards show at the JW Marriott Hotel in Downtown LA. XBIZ is an adult industry news leader covering digital media, technology, sex toys and so much more! Hanging in the lobby for the first hour was some of the best people watching I’ve been privileged to experience. I’d look one way and see Kelly Shibari & Asa Akira! I went to the rest room and ran into Remy LaCroix! I left the rest room and saw Annika Albright, Mr.Pete, Skin Diamond, Manuel Farrera & Kayden Kross! I was totally star struck and loving every minute!

My boy James Deen was the host this year so you know I had to be in the audience to support him! Poor baby is a wreck speaking in front of large groups of people and even though these are his peers, he was so nervous. Honestly, if he had hosted the show naked I think he would have been more comfortable speaking in front of the crowd but he was in a tux instead. I’m not complaining cuz the boy looks good with clothes on and off! I love how he doesn't give a fuck and probably pissed off some people when he mentioned the company that makes his toys instead of the company sponsoring the show. He’s so cool even when he’s clearly having an panic attack on stage. I got lucky and ran into him briefly after the show and when he saw me, he gave me a big hug! I told him he did a great job which he quickly denied!  I said all I wanted to do was yell, “YOU GOT THIS BABY” but my voice was gone at the time. Regardless of what happened at the awards, JD walked away with four XBIZ trophies including  Male Performer of the Year for the fourth time & All-Sex Series of the Year for his 7 Deadly Sins films!

The next week on Jan 23, I headed out to Las Vegas for the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo at the Hard Rock Hotel. AVN stands for Adult Video News which is the premier adult industry news source kinda like Variety is for the Hollywood scene! Every January porn stars shoot over to Las Vegas for a 5 day trade show which includes a novelty expo showcasing the latest in sex toys plus booths upon booths of both up and coming and A-List adult performers. I haven’t been to Vegas in several years and I swear Sin City  was on steroids this weekend! Bigger tits, faster twerking, and creepy dudes taking selfies with porn stars & filming it all on their GoPros!

I spent Friday evening chatting with friends near the designated porn star bar and had a blast! One of my friends saw James coming our way and when he saw me, he blew kisses at me! I didn’t get a chance to talk to him that night which was fine. On Saturday, I got hooked up with free pass into the expo about two hous before the whole thing was shutting down (Thank You Theresa)! When I got inside,  I went straight to the JD booth & I could tell he was happy to see me! Swear he gave me like 6 hugs in between taking pics with other fans and chatting with me! I was so excited to meet his assistant Shay too! She be workin’ hard for this man and I got mad respect for her (yes, that sentence is grammatically correct)! I literally felt like I was in the middle of the world of James Deen it was a bit overwhelming! I kept thinking "Is this really happening? WTF!"! Yes it is! I started to lose my shit and decided to take a walk around the convention to catch my breath! 

I gathered my racing heart together and met some friends near the JD booth before they started to tear it down. I knew the awards show was starting in a few hours and I could see they had a lot of stuff to pack! I went over and offered to support them and was soon packing up James Deen DVDs, T-Shirts & Sex Toys! Both James and Shay were so appreciative and James even gave me a box set of his 7 Sins series for lending a hand! Of course, the pleasure was all mine and I’m so grateful I was in the right place at the right time to show I’m down for Team Deen! I know it might not sound glamorous but for me, this was an opportunity to work for the best in the business, not to mention my absolute favorite porn star! 

Wooowww....I have a lot of porn to watch now! 

I didn't get to attend the award show this time but it’s on my list for next year! James won for Mainstream Star of the Year, Most Outrageous Sex Scene for "Gangbang Me" & Favorite Male Porn Star of course! I saw him again much later after the AVN awards and he hugged me two more times, we joked about rophies, Shay said she loved me and her friend Mica was like “I couldn’t have done it without you girl”!  It all felt so real and like a dream at the same time!  You know what’s funny, while I was at AVN every tweet I sent said my location was Paradise, Nevada! It was truly my perfect porn paradise and I can’t wait for next year! Who’s coming with me?

Hello Friends...I'm Back!  It feels a little strange to sit down and write a blog again.  So much has happened and it's a bit hard to figure out where to start. Real Life Shit

It's hard to think about sex when real life shit is happening. And Real Life Shit has been happening since James Deen's birthday. On Saturday, Feb 8 th , I was beyond excited to take my father to see Zappa plays Zappa, which is Frank Zappa's son Dweezil’s tribute band to his dad. My father Terry   loves   rock music and Zappa is some weird shit but I knew he would love this show since he'd never seen Zappa live so I was beyond excited to take him. But shortly after we got inside the venue, he suffered a massive heart attack before the show even started and was rushed to the hospital. For two weeks he battled to stay alive but was never able to regain consciousness or the use of his limbs. He passed on from this earth on Feb 22 and my life will never be the same. Obviously, losing my father isn't easy to write about especially since parts of my mind are still in disbelief. It's taken more time then I intended to gather my thoughts but I knew I couldn't ...

If you read my last post, you’ll understand my stress level has been at code red since my father died. I wish time would pause to let this digest but life keeps moving right along, doesn't it? And when life keeps going and going, we need tools to manage the stress that comes with it. I wanted to share my two favorite & most effective tools to relieve stress:  Music & Sex . Music is one of the most primal forms of human communication and expression which explains why it strikes such a chord with us (pun intended). When I was young, I wanted to be a singer but couldn't sing. I decided to study sound in college but I'm no musician or engineer. When I look back on it now, I just wanted to close to where the music was happening. I believe my Dad's eclectic tastes in music made a lasting impression on me and  is probably why music is such a force in my life.
